Permanent Secretariat of the Alpine Convention

The Permanent Secretariat supports the bodies established by the Alpine Convention. It offers professional, logistic and administrative help and assists the countries in carrying out the actions required by the Convention and its Protocols. The Permanent Secretariat was set up in 2003 and is located in Innsbruck, Austria (political-administrative duties), with a branch office in Bolzano/Bozen, Italy (technical-operational duties).

CIPRA

CIPRA ("Commission Internationale pour la Protection des Régions Alpines") is an autonomous non-governmental, non-profit umbrella organization that has been committed to the protection and sustainable development of the Alps since 1952. With its international executive office in Liechtenstein, its representatives in seven Alpine states and around one hundred member organizations and institutions CIPRA today represents an important Alpine-wide network. CIPRA has been a partner of the YPAC since 2011.

Friends' Association of the Youth Parliament to the Alpine Convention

Our friends' association was founded in 2014 and is organized according to Liechtenstein law. Its main purposes are:

  • to provide financial support for everything concerning the organization of YPAC by means of membership fees and fundraising
  • to preserve and transfer knowledge about anything concerning the YPAC project
  • to build and maintain a network of former participants.
